How to setup my email account on iPhone
- If this is the first e-mail account on your iPhone, tap Mail
Otherwise, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account
- Tap "Other"�
- Tap on the "Name box" and enter your full name
- Tap on the "Address box" and enter your full e-mail address (for example,[email protected]).
- Tap on the "Password box" and enter your password.
- Your screen should look like the following screenshot. Once done, tap Save.�
- An error message stating that the certificate for "[email protected]" may not be valid. Select�Continue to proceed with the account setup.�
- Subsequently, an error message will appear trying to prompt you if you would like to try to setup your account without SSL. Select Yes to proceed with the account setup.
- Tap on IMAP.�
- Under incoming Mail Server Host Name, enter server name
(Eg. ant.vodien.com - Found in section 3 of your "Web Hosting Account Information" email).
- Enter your user name (for example,�[email protected]) and your password. Your screen should look like the following screenshot:�
- Under Outgoing Mail Server Host Name,�enter server name
(Eg. ant.vodien.com - Found in section 3 of your "Web Hosting Account Information" email).
- Enter your user name and password (Same as your incoming mail server).�
Optional steps:
- Go back to main screen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Select the Email account which you have just created
- Tap Advanced
- Change the settings to the below information:
- Incoming
Use SSL: Off
Authentication: Password
- Outgoing
Use SSL: Off
Authentication: Password
